Institute of Rail Transport (IRT) conducts following Three One Year and One Two Years Correspondence Diploma courses for Graduates/Diploma Holders from recognized University / Institutes OR Sr. Secondary with minimum 3 years working experience in any Govt. Organisation / PSUs.
One Year Diploma
TRANSPORT ECONOMICS & MANAGEMENT :
Course starts from February, every year.
MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORT (CONTAINERIZATION) & LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT :
Course starts from April, every year.
On popular demand the date extended upto 31st July 2007, for both the courses.
COURSE FEE: Rs. 2,200/- without Contact Classes, OR Rs. 3,000/- with Contact Classes. (Each Course).
RAIL TRANSPORT & MANAGEMENT :
Course Starts from May / June every year. The last date for admission is 10th August, 2007.
COURSE FEE: Rs. 1,200/- without Contact Classes OR Rs. 1,700/- with Contact Classes.
Two Years Diploma
PORT DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT:
Course starts from May / June every year. The last date for admission is 10th August, 2007.
COURSE FEE: Rs. 5000/- for two years.
All the courses are Recognised by Ministry of Railways. These courses are designed to improve career advancement of serving employees and of help students in seeking employment. Prospectus can be collected on any working day for Rs. 50/- for each course by cash at the counter OR by Demand Draft in favour of Institute of Rail Transport, New Delhi, alongwith a self –addressed, stamped Rs. 15/- envelope (11”x5”). Write your name, address and course name at the back of the draft. Institute remains closed on Saturdays / Sundays.
